MLB Gamers are taking Astros punishment into their own hands.

MLB The Show was released last week just as news broke that MLB will delay the start of the 2020 season. When will baseball be back from the Coronavirus pandemic? May? June? 2025? Nobody knows.

Many baseball fans were ready to begin rooting against the Astros come April. In the aftermath of their cheating scandal, it seemed that opposing teams might take punishing Houston into their own hands.

How does baseball police itself you ask? With bean balls of course. It was expected that the Astros players would be bruised up by mid May.

That won’t happen now, but their digital clones are getting pelted on Twitter.

Searching for tweets about the Astros reveals that the punishment for sign stealing will not need to wait for the pandemic to pass. On Twitter, you can spend endless hours watching Jose Altuve and friends get hit by pitches.

Corona can’t stop Twitter from beaning Jose Altuve and the other cheating Astros players.

Here are some of our favorite examples of social media vigilante justice. The Astros are under fire, and all you need is a PS4 or Xbox + MLB The Show 2020 to join in on the beaning fun.
